The World Intellectual Property Day was celebrated at the ICAR-Directorate of Weed Research (DWR), Jabalpur today. The program focused on the relevance of Intellectual Property (IP) management in agricultural research. The event featured lectures, panel discussions, and presentations.
Dr J.S. Mishra, Director, ICAR-DWR, Jabalpur highlighted the institute’s efforts in IP management and emphasized the critical role of intellectual property in agriculture and agribusiness management. He stressed the importance of World Intellectual Property Day in promoting research, fostering innovation, and protecting the rights of inventors.
A panel discussion was held on various intellectual property topics.
More than 70 participants including scientists, officers, staff, and students of the institute actively participated in the event and shared their experiences.
