ICAR-Central Citrus Research Institute, Nagpur in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Intellectual Property Management (RGNIIPM), Nagpur organized a workshop on “IPR : Patents, Design and filing process” at the premises of RGNIIPM today.
The workshop was organized to safeguard the interest of inventors and to upgrade the IP skills of scientists and students.
Dr. Dilip Ghosh, Director, ICAR-CCRI briefed about protection of the research work and the awareness to be created in this regard.
Lectures on importance and advantage of protection of IPR, invention and discovery, process of patent application filing, forms, fees, patents specifications etc. where delivered by Shri. Nimalaya Sinha, Joint Controller and Shri. Pankaj Borkar, Deputy Controller of Patents and Designs, RGNIIPM.
A total of 25 participants participated in workshop.
