Delegates comprising Prof. Mark Swainson, University of Lincoln, Prof. Mark Rutter, The National Centre for Precision Farming, Harper Adams University and Prof. Ronald Corstanje, School of Energy, Environment and Agrifood Cranfield University and Ms. Swati Saxena, visited ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil Science, Bhopal today.
Ms. Swati Saxena, Senior Science and Innovation Advisor, British High Commission, New Delhi said purpose of the visit is to identify potential areas for joint collaboration in precision farming and natural resource management.
Dr. Ashok K. Patra, Director, ICAR-IISS briefed on the recent achievements of the Institute.
The delegates also visited Mridaparikshak Mini Lab and MIR spectroscopy research.
