The National Agricultural Science Complex (NASC), established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), is a prestigious facility spread over 22 acres in the Pusa campus, New Delhi. It serves as the national focal point for agricultural research, education, and collaboration.

The complex houses the Bharat Ratna C. Subramaniam Convention Centre, National Agricultural Science Museum, Symposia Complex, offices of national and international agricultural organizations. It also features a grand podium, landscaped gardens, and spacious underground parking.

The International Guest House (IGH) within the complex offers 76 rooms and 22 suites, all centrally air-conditioned and equipped with modern amenities. It includes a lobby, cafeteria, VIP and common dining areas, modern kitchen with solar heating, indoor games facilities, and a tennis court.

Designed as a hub for national and international conferences, symposia, seminars, and workshops, the NASC Complex operates year-round, providing state-of-the-art infrastructure and hospitality to support ICAR and its partner institutions in advancing agricultural research and innovation.

Bharat Ratna C. Subramaniam Auditorium

The Bharat Ratna C. Subramaniam Auditorium is a premier convention and meeting facility located at the ICAR-National Agricultural Science Complex (NASC), New Delhi. Named in honour of Dr. C. Subramaniam, the distinguished statesman and recipient of the Bharat Ratna, who played a pivotal role in ushering India’s Green Revolution, the auditorium stands as a tribute to his visionary leadership in agriculture and rural development.

Equipped with modern audio-visual and conferencing facilities, the auditorium serves as a venue for national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, and official events of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), and other allied organizations.

With its spacious seating, excellent acoustics, and advanced multimedia systems, the Bharat Ratna C. Subramaniam Auditorium provides an ideal environment for knowledge exchange, policy dialogue, and showcasing India’s achievements in agricultural science and technology.
