ICAR–National Research Centre on Mithun, Medziphema, organised the Khet Bachao Abhiyaan at Abango village in Lower Dibang Valley District, Arunachal Pradesh, today. The programme focused on creating awareness among farmers about the importance of soil health, maintaining soil fertility and adopting sustainable agricultural practices.
The farmers were also sensitised to the benefits of integrated farming systems for efficient utilisation of farm resources, enhanced agricultural productivity and increased farm income. The initiative aimed to promote sustainable farming practices and encourage farmers to improve their livelihoods through better resource management and productive agricultural systems.
