The Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan 2025 was held today in Ichhawar Block, Sehore District, Madhya Pradesh, with the esteemed presence of Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister of Agriculture, alongside Shri Karan Singh Verma, State Minister for Agriculture, Madhya Pradesh.

The programme was also graced by distinguished officials from ICAR and state administration, including Dr. Rajbir Singh, Deputy Director General, Agricultural Extension (ICAR); Dr. C.R. Mehta, Director, ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal; Dr. Aniket Sanyal, Director, ICAR-National Institute of High Security Animal Diseases, Bhopal; Dr. S.R.K. Singh, Director, ICAR–Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Jabalpur; Dr. K.H. Singh, Director, ICAR–NISR, Indore and other senior state agricultural officials.
A total of 8,800 farmers, farm women, and agricultural officials from Sehore and neighboring districts attended the programme. Esteemed scientists from various ICAR institutes delivered informative lectures covering a wide range of agricultural topics and best practices.

Following the main event, a Krishak Chaupal was held at Aajivika Park, Bhaukhedi. During this session, Shri Chouhan, along with ICAR officials, engaged in a detailed dialogue with farm women associated with diverse livelihoods under the mission. This interactive forum provided a valuable platform for sharing insights, resolving concerns, and promoting inclusive development in rural agriculture.
The entire programme was adeptly coordinated by Dr. S.R.K. Singh, Director, ICAR–ATARI, Jabalpur, ensuring seamless execution and enriching exchanges between policymakers, scientists, and grassroots farming communities.
