ICAR- National Meat Research Institute, Hyderabad in collaboration with Zonal Livestock Research Station, Mandira, Assam Agricultural University, Guwahati, organized a training on Meat processing and Entrepreneurship development opportunities in the NEH Region, today.

Several women entrepreneurs showed their interest in entering into meat processing and value-addition entrepreneurship. Four potential young entrepreneurs were selected for further training during the programme.

Different inputs like feed and essential medicines were also distributed during the program.

A total of 25 livestock farmers and entrepreneurs attended the training programme.
