The Foundation Stone of the administrative building of KVK West Tripura, Belbari laid

Dr. Suresh Kumar Chaudhari, Deputy Director General (Natural Resource Management) laid the foundation stone of the administrative building of KVK West Tripura, Belbari today.

Dr. Chaudhari in his address apprised the farmers about the significance and role played by the KVKs in the livelihood improvement of the farming community.

ICAR-NAARM Organized Skill Development Programme on Backyard Poultry at KVK, Gaddipally, Telangana

ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad organized two-day Skill Development training programme on “Backyard Poultry” under SCSP in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Gaddipally, Telangana for SC farmers from 23- 24th March 2023.

Awareness training programme on “Value addition in finger millet

13th January 2023, Khordha

Krishi Vigyan Kendra–Khordha and ICAR- Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Bhubaneswar jointly organized an awareness training programme on “Value addition in finger millet” at KVK-Khordha today.

The objective of the training was to create awareness among the farm women about the nutritional value of the finger millet and the skill of preparing value-added products from it. This programme was supported by   Dharitri Krushak Sanghatan, Rajas, Balipatna Block, Khordha District.

Gadmal Day Celebrated

Gadmal is an endemic underutilized pulse crop that is being grown by the tribes of village Damjipura, Bhimpur block of Betul district fits as a sandwich crop for the kharif cafeteria. As the pulse crop is highly delicious and is being used by the tribes in their several local religious events. The area under this crop is reducing day by day due to many biotic and abiotic stresses.
