International Biodiversity Day - 2022 celebrated

The ICAR-National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources, Karnal, Haryana celebrated the “International Biodiversity Day - 2022” on the Theme - “Building a Shared Future for all Life” today.
The Institute organized the Webinar to celebrate the day.
Dr. V.K. Saxena, ADG (AP&B), ICAR stressed on enhancing the productivity of the native Breeds for their long-term sustainability.
In his Thematic Lecture on “Building a Shared Future with Animal Genetic Resources Biodiversity”, Dr. B.P. Mishra, Director, ICAR-NBAGR, Karnal underlined the Bureau’s efforts for identifying and documenting the AnGR Biodiversity of the country under the Mission towards Zero Non-Descript AnGR of India.
A total of 47 participants from ICAR Institutes including Research Scholars attended the Lecture.
