• Development and refinement in processing and value addition technologies for raw, semi-refined and finished natural resins and gums and their by-products to pilot scale production.

• Development and refinement of new products and formulations for industrial, agricultural, food, pharmaceutical, handicrafts and other applications of commercial importance

• Training and demonstration of developed processes and products.

• To act as repository of information on natural resins and gums processing and products.
