The pace of information technology development is very fast all over the world. We have entered in the area of information technology highway. In order to keep pace with the development in this field, the University is gradually transforming its various activities in order to imbibe the computer culture.

    There is a Central Computer Centre at the University level which was developed with the generous equipment and funds for creating infrastructure facilities and LAN under ARIS of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. VSAT has been installed. Connectivity has been insured for making the system operation.

Software Package    MS Office, Word Perfect, Wordstar, Lotus 1-2-3, Dbase IV, Quatro Pro, Harward Graphics,Professional        Write, etc. 

 

          

    The Computer Centre of the University is conducting Undergraduate and PostgrProgrammes of the three faculties. In addition, refresher courses on Computer Science for teachers and students of the University have been planned.

    At the BAU Zonal Research Stations also facilities have been created under ARIS. These centres shall be linked up with the Headquarters and with the IARI library and other reputed institutions of the Country through the internet.

(b)    Programme 2    3(Three) weeks training Programme on Computer Appplication.

(c)    Programme 3    3(Three) months certificate course on Fundamental of Personal Computers.

(d)    Programme 4    6(Six) months certificate course on Computer Application.

    Text formating and Printing, Table formating and Printing and Graph making and Printing.
