13. Institutional
Improvement as an Outcome of Accreditation Process
- Accreditation is a process of
assuring acceptable institutional quality and a
tool for improving educational standards.
- It is expected that the
institution will maximize its strengths and
overcome the challenges identified during the
accreditation process.
- It will also implement the
suggestions made by the Peer Review Team and the
Board for improvement.
- Accreditation Board will
monitor the expected improvements in
institutional functioning through periodic
reports from the institution and /or visits, if
necessary which may be internal or in specific
cases involving external experts.
